The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has emphasized that it does not provide test results for individuals.
The NCDC via it’s social media platform informed that it only coordinates communication of results between the testing laboratories and the states who then communicate same to the individuals.
The clarification comes amid growing concerns from Nigerians within and outside cyber space on the NCDC’s refusal to publish the names of persons who tested positive for COVID-19.
Reactions monitored on social media platforms revealed a section of Nigerians who express doubts over the accuracy and transparency of the figures published by the NCDC.
