The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the introduction of COVID-19 Self-reporting and Control Tool for Nigerians. The tool is to be used for assessment and reporting of the dreaded virus.
The NCDC made this known on its Twitter handle used in updating Nigerians about the virus.
According to the NCDC, “If you suspect that you or a loved one may have been exposed to COVID19 visit covid19.ncdc.gov.ng to complete self-assessment & alert an agent.”
The agency whose main goal is to protect public health and safety through the control and prevention of communicable diseases in Nigeria, thanked @WellvisHealth , @gloepid & @vplatformhub for their efforts and support in making the initiative a reality.
The Commission has warned Nigerians to continue practicing good respiratory hygiene so as to stop the further spread of the pandemic, which currently has no cure.
