The Nigerian Navy, Operation DELTA SANITY has intercepted and impounded a Toyota Sienna Vehicle conveying sacks containing illegally refined AGO in Abua/Odua LGA, Rivers State.

The Navy in a statement said the vehicle was Intercepted on Monday, September, 23 2024.

It also said an illegal refining site with 7 large ovens and 4 reservoirs laden with an unspecified amount of illegally refined AGO was discovered and deactivated in Okolomadi, community Rivers State.

The statement revealed that another illegal refining site with a massive metal storage tank laden with a large quantity of stolen Crude Oil was discovered and destroyed in Gbaran Community, Bayelsa State.
