The Nigerian Navy Ship PATHFINDER has discovered and deactivated an illegal refining site with several metal and plastic drums used for refining illegally siphoned crude oil from wellheads.
The discovery was made on Saturday within Ogoloma creek, Okrika Local Government Area, Rivers State.
The Navy also arrested 5 suspected oil thieves during the operation.
