Unknown Gunmen have reportedly shot a suspected naval officer at the Cornerstone axis of Rumukwuta in Port Harcourt, today.
Sources say the man was shot in front of a shopping plaza after he had parked and alighted from his car
They said he took to his heels on sighting the gunmen who came in a motor bike but was still shot at his back.
Eyewitnesses explained that he was immediately rushed to the hospital, adding that they could not confirm if he was still breathing.
The incident caused tension and panic in the area as residents scampered for safety.
The Police is yet to release an official statement on the incident.
