The Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, has threatened a nationwide strike action if Resident Doctors were not paid their entitlements.
Chairperson of the organization’s Inter Affiliate Affairs, Dr Rosemary Uzowulu said this in a statement on Friday.
She berated the government at all levels, describing the ongoing strike as uncalled for if they were sincere.
Rosemary, also explained that those in power do not care because they could afford medical treatments abroad, as she accused them of playing games with the health of Nigerians.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige has accused the striking doctors of trying to rub shoulders with God, over their refusal to call off the strike.
