The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) is set to carryout a nationwide protest on Monday, over the hike in electricity tariff and petroleum products.
The National President of NANS, Danielson Akpan disclosed this at a press briefing in Abuja yesterday.
He said, “Nigerians are bewildered that having been under months of lockdown and restrictive measures, welcoming them back to normal life with increases in prices of essential commodities is a burden too harsh for the citizens to bear.”
He called on the government to reverse to the old price for the good of Nigerians.
