A political group known as RG23 has called on the Rivers State Government to name the Port Harcourt Ring Road after former governor of the state, Nyesom Wike.
The group in a statement at the weekend said naming the road after Wike will be in appreciation for his numerous contributions to the development of the state.
The group commended the former governor for transforming the state during his stay in office and for his development plan.
It called on Rivers people to join the campaign in calling for the road to be named after Wike.
Meanwhile, the 50.15km road will be flagged off by the former governor Today at UTC junction, Port Harcourt.
