The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has warned applicants of its on going recruitment exercise to be wary of fraudsters, stating that the exercise is free of charge, nobody is expected to pay for anything.
The Force Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola who made this known in a chat with journalists said, Information reaching the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) indicates that some unscrupulous individuals have established fraudulent Facebook and WhatsApp groups with the objective of extorting money from unsuspecting applicants.
He said efforts are ongoing to arrest those involved in the fraudulent activities and destroying the image of the force. He urged applicants to report such activities to the nearest NAF unit or Police station.
He said, the registration begins from 24 July 2020 to 21 August 2020. Interested applicants, who meet the requirements published in the 10 July 2020 editions of the Nation and Daily Trust Newspapers as well as on all NAF official social media handles, are to apply online at the NAF official website, www.airforce.mil.ng, he asserted.
