The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has confirmed that its C-130 aircraft, which earlier made a precautionary landing in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, has safely departed and arrived in Accra, Ghana.
The update was contained in a statement issued on December 19, 2025, by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Headquarters Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame.
According to the NAF, the aircraft departed on Friday evening in line with an updated flight plan and is preparing for onward movement to Portugal via Banjul and Casablanca, where it is scheduled to undergo routine depot maintenance.
The Air Force reassured Nigerians that all personnel on board the aircraft are safe and that the aircraft remains serviceable.
The NAF also expressed appreciation to members of the public for their concern and support, reiterating its commitment to operating at the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
