Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, Amb. Desmond Akawor says his target is to bring back the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi to the party.
Akawor, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, stated that Amaechi belongs to the party, having served as Governor and Speaker under its platform.
He advised Amaechi to come back to the party, adding that the ceremony is over where he is at the moment.
The Party Chairman, also noted that he plans to bring back other members of the party, who had left.
“I have a target and my target is to return every PDP member that has gone to APC including the Minister for transportation, Rt. Hoñ. Rotimi Ameachi. My target is to bring him back to his party, because this is his party he served as speaker for two tenure, this is his party he served as governor for two tenure,” he said.
“Do you it’s my duty to tell him to come back to his party. The ceremony is over in that place he went to and I believe all of them will come back,” he added.
