Publisher of Ovation International and prominent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) figure, Dele Momodu, has declared his withdrawal from the opposition party, citing deep internal divisions.
Speaking on Tuesday during a programme on the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State, Momodu said, “My soul has left the PDP,” signaling a clear disengagement from the party’s affairs.
He expressed concern over the party’s ongoing internal crisis, describing the lack of unity within the PDP as a significant impediment to its ability to effectively challenge the ruling party.
“My soul has left the PDP; it’s only my body that remains. If the PDP were united, it could defeat the APC in 2027. But too many forces within and outside are fighting against this,” he added.
Simply put you are decamping to APC to chop your own.
