Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara says his oath of office is to protect Rivers state.
Fubara who made this known while inspecting the entire stretch of the Andoni section of the Ogoni-Andoni-Opobo Unity road on Thursday, said he is committed to protecting Rivers people and their interest.
He assured that the current challenges confronting his administration cannot, in anyway, distract him.
“So, we will continue to do our best not minding the challenges we are facing,” he said.
“The most important thing is we have taken our oath to defend our people and protect their interest, we are not going back on that,” he added.
