Mr Real Accuses D’banj of Exploitation, Unfulfilled PromisesNigerian singer Okafor Uchenna Victor, popularly known as Mr Real, has accused veteran entertainer D’banj of exploitation and failing to deliver on promises made during their two-year working relationship.
In a recent interview, Mr Real alleged that despite working closely with D’banj, his only financial benefit from the partnership was $500. He said he was introduced as an ambassador for D’banj’s CREAM brand but claimed he never received any compensation or benefits from the role.
The singer further alleged that a car reportedly gifted to D’banj to present to him was withheld, leaving him stranded despite not owning a vehicle at the time.
“D’banj ripped me. You can’t be with a man for two years and the only thing you gain is $500. What kind of wickedness and selfishness is that?” Mr Real said.
As of the time of filing this report, D’banj has not publicly responded to the allegations.
