Former militant leader, Asari Dokubo has again accused the military of being behind illegal Oil activities in the Niger Delta region.
Asari, who had accused the Army and Navy of oil theft some months back at the state House, in a recent video said everyone knows that the military is behind the act, but are silent over fear of possible coup.
“It’s the president I’m talking about and since they don’t want us to keep secret; I won’t. It’s the president that asked me to talk to the press.
“If they ask me the root cause of bunkering, I shouldn’t talk? Should I be afraid of calling those behind bunkering?
“It’s not Ijaw, Ikwerre, or Ogoni boys that are involved in bunkering. It’s the people in the military that pay them to carry out bunkering, they collect their own and give the boys peanuts,” he alleged.
