Some investors of MBA Forex have called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to help them recover their funds from owners of the scheme.
The investors made this known to news correspondents during a protest in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
One of the investors, accused the owner of the scheme, Maxwell Odum of being wicked, while stating that he defrauded over 7000 Nigerians of their hard earned money.
Another investor said: life has been unbearable for she and her family, since the incident. “We have been issued a quit notice at home. The Landlord is not listening to excuses. The school fees of our kids have not been paid. My husband is now battling with his health. This was our alternative source of survival,” she stated.
Meanwhile, CEO of the scheme Maxwell Odum had in a statement few weeks ago, said investors will soon get their monies, as efforts are in place to commence payment even as some of them have already been paid.
