Miss Mary Ngozi Kekwaru – the Eko Hotel Staff who returned misplaced $70,000 to a customer says she returned the money because of her high standards and religious belief.
Mary said this in a statement in Port Harcourt Today.
She said returning the money has brought her many good things and that she does not regret her actions.
She also commended chairman of Emohua LGA, Hon. Chidi Lloyd for holding a grand reception in her honour and appointing her as ambassador of the council.
Mary revealed that the council chair promised to name a building still under construction after her once it is completed.
We gathered that she is also set to unveil a foundation to reach out to the less privileged in the society.
