Chairperson of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists in Rivers State, Susan Serekara Nwikhana says many women are dying slowing of cancer in the state, without knowing.
Serekara, disclosed this in a statement during the on going vital signs, blood sugar tests in collaboration with Engraced Life Foundation, at Isiokpo Ikwerre LGA, yesterday.
She said they have been in tears since the campaign started across the state, due to the number of women down with the ailment.
Her statement reads,
Day Four: @Adanta, Isiokpo Registration, vital signs, blood sugar tests ongoing. God our women are dying silently with Cancer may God send a messiah to come to their help.
Members of NAWOJ, Rivers State Chapter and Engraced Life Foundation we have been in tears and pains since this campaign started.
In pains and tears because some of our women breast cancer have so deteriorated that they don’t have who to go and the money for proper treatment as such are dying gradually by the day.
Oh God arise and raise up well meaning individuals to come to their aides.
