Scores of APC members in Gokhana Local Government Area, Rivers State, have decamped to the People’s Democratic Party.
The defectors during a ceremony to welcome them to their new home said, they decided to join the PDP due to the developmental strides of Governor Nyesom Wike.
The State Publicity Secretary of the Party, Sydney Gbara, welcomed the defectors on behalf of the State Chairman, Amb. Desmond Akawor.
He assured the defectors of equal rights and privileges in the party.
