One Emmanuel Chibuike, a fifteen-year-old boy who was accused of killing a twenty-year-old man, Ahmed Buhari in the Mile 3 axis of Port Harcourt, two years ago has been discharged and acquited by a State High Court in Port Harcourt.
Emmanuel was discharged by the presiding judge, Justice Else Thompson who ruled that the prosecuting counsel could not prove that it was a case of manslaughter and not self defence.
Emmanuel reportedly stabbed Ahmed to death in self-defense during an attack on him by the deceased and his friends.
