An underaged orphan boy is currently lying critically ill in a hospital, and bleeding from the anus after he was sodomized by a man.
Chairperson of the International Federation of Women Lawyers, FIDA, in Rivers State, Adata Bio-Briggs disclosed this in a statement, Today.
It was gathered that the incident occurred in Port Harcourt, few days ago.
Mrs Briggs, who assured that justice must prevail in the matter, noted that the suspect is currently facing trail.
Her statement reads,
I cannot sleep, I’m worried about our children.
As FIDA Rivers Chair I have a lot of FIDA children, one of my son’s (an orphan) is lying critically ill in the hospital, bleeding excessively from the anus after being sodomized by an adult man.
When will all these crime against children end?
Please say a word of prayer for him. He must live. My heart is heavy.
Justice must prevail.
