One Ifeanyi Ezeji has been sentenced to seven years Imprisonment by a Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Port Harcourt, for defiling his twelve years old house help.
Chief Magistrate, Felicitas Amanze found Ezeji guilty of unlawful sexual abuse of the victim. An offence punishable under the Child Rights Law.
The judge, slammed the accused for claiming that the minor consented to the act which occured at his residence at the Eastern By-pass axis of Port Harcourt, two years ago.
The judge, also said the evidences tendered before the court against Mr. Ezeji was enough to convict him.
