A High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, has sentenced one Sodeinye Mbatumukeke to death by hanging, for Killing a Jumia agent, Chukwuma Eleje in Port Harcourt, few years ago.
The trial judge, Justice Chigozie Igwe gave the ruling after finding the accused guilty of armed robbery and murder.
The second defendant Excel Naabee was acquitted by the judge due to the failure of the prosecution team, to convince him that he was guilty of the charges levelled against him.
Mr Chukwuma was killed and his body dumped in a septic tank in March 2017, when he had gone to deliver items ordered by an online customer.
Finally justice has been served… after 4 years..the evil men do will always live with them not before or after them..
