A man who has been pretending to be a police officer was today, arrested in Lugano community of Khana LGA of Rivers State.
The man, Fred Monday, said he purchased the AK47 riffle in 2021 for 800,000 Naira. He added that he uses the ammunition to rob unsuspecting travelers on the road.
Police commissioner Olatunji Disu while briefing journalists today, said Fred Monday was arrested while giving protection to five students of Ken Saro Wiwa Polytechnic during an initiation.
Fred Monday, who resides at Eneka link road also had in his custody ten magazines and over 100 ammunition.
