A motorist escaped death this morning when he rammed into a ditch at the Marine Base roundabout in Port Harcourt.
A Facebook user identified as Charles de Gideonite in a post said an eyewitness confirmed to him that the incident occurred at 1:00am Today.
According to him, no life was lost in the accident which caused tension and panic in the area.
“This Lexus Saloon car reportedly rammed into a streetlight at the middle of the Marine Base Round About and later swerved towards a shop. The accident according to a lady I spoke to occurred at about 1 a.m this morning and no life was lost,” he said.
“I also saw men of the police around the scene investigating the ugly occurrence. Probably, the driver should be in custody for questioning,” he added.
