An overseas returnee identified as Ifega USA has dragged his lover to the Police to recover his car after their relationship collapsed.
A member of the Centre for Basic Rights and Accountability Campaign, Prince Wiro, made this known in a statement Today.
According to him, Ifega dragged the lady to the Octopus Strike Force Unit in Port Harcourt alleging that she stole his car and converted it to her personal use.
However, he said the lady denied the claims stating that the man gave her the car as a gift, and that all the documents bears her name.
His statement reads,

One Ifega USA,an oversee returnee last week dragged his longtime female lover to Octopus Strike Force Police unit in PortHarcourt, Rivers State alleging that she stole and converted his car to her personal use.
Meanwhile the lady Julie disclosed that the said Ifega USA gave her the car as a gift and all documents bears her name.
The lady was detained for two days and when it got to attention of the Commander of the unit,the lady was released immediately on December 22,2022 as the Commander saw that it was not the duty of Police to retrieve gift given to a woman by her man.The said Ifega USA refused showing up despite repeated invitation by the unit Commander after the lady’s release.
Saddened by his failed attempt to retrieve the car gift he gave the lady Ifega USA ran to another Police unit in Zone 16, Bayelsa state whose office is located in Old GRA, PortHarcourt and the lady was arrested on 12am Christmas day.
All tactics employed by Ifega USA so far to retrieve the car gift he gave the lady has also failed.
