A middle aged man identified as Mr. Uche was yesterday caught by men of a local security outfit, while abusing a 16-year-old girl in an uncompleted building at Ekwe Street, Mile 3 Diobu, Port Harcourt.
The CSO in charge of Elechi Street vigilante, Godstime Ihunwo in a chat with Journalists yesterday said they arrested the alleged rapist after they got a distress call from neighbours around, who saw the man dragging the girl into the building.
He said the suspect was caught in the act and was immediately handed over to the Nkpolu Divisional Police for investigation and prosecution.
