A young man was yesterday, burnt to death following a cult clash in Gambia street mile 1 Diobu, Port Harcourt.
An eyewitness disclosed that fight broke out between the two cult groups in the area which led to the burning of a building and destruction of properties.
According to him, the deceased was not part of the fight as he was in the building when it was set Ablaze.
He explained that the cause of the fight is yet unknown, and that the incident caused panic in the area as residents scampered for safety.
He noted that many persons were injured in the fight which lasted for about an hour.
The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the incident.
