A young man and a lady were on Monday, afternoon found dead in a hotel room at the Agip axis of Port Harcourt.
A staff of the hotel who pleaded anonymity in a chat with us said the lifeless bodies were found in one of the hotel rooms.
This was after they forced their way into the room, after several attempts to alert them that they had overstayed their time in the room.
The staff said the deceased persons lodged in the hotel on Sunday afternoon; later went out and returned to pass the night.
She said the incident threw the entire hotel into panic, as they immediately alerted the Police who came and moved the corpse away.
She also said family members of the deceased persons were alerted through their phones.
It was gathered that activities at the hotel have been grounded in the meantime due to the incident, and that Investigation is ongoing to unravel the cause of death.
