A man identified as Ogbonna, popularly known as Mourinho, has allegedly killed his former girlfriend, Chisom Ayogu, at his residence on New Anglican Road in Nsukka Local Government Area.
According to a report by Vanguard, Ayogu, who was from the Amufie community in Igbo-Eze North LGA, had visited Ogbonna to inform him of her upcoming wedding when the incident occurred.
Local authorities are reportedly investigating the circumstances surrounding the case.
