A Rivers resident, Victor Amadi has accused some officers of the Rivers State Police Command of extortion.
Amadi, in a chat with journalists said the incident happened at a Police checkpoint close to Bori junction, Today.
According to him, the officers stopped their vehicle, searched all passengers on board, and took those who had money in their pockets to a bush.
He said they were then stripped naked as the officers collected all the monies they had.
Amadi, added that they were later detained and released few hours after being forced to write statements.
