The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Maknde has named the Akobo-Olorunda road after Nyesom Wike, former governor of Rivers State.

The governor made the declaration at the flag-off of the dualization of the 8.3 kilometer Road on Friday.

Speaking at the event, Makinde said the road will provide relief for motorists and residents, adding that it would also enhance the development of the area when completed.
