Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has described the just-concluded Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Elective National Convention in Ibadan as a historic turning point for the party.
In a statement reflecting on the exercise, which began on Sunday and ended in the early hours of Monday, Makinde said the convention would be remembered as the event that set the PDP on a path of national revival.
He thanked party leaders, delegates, and members whose efforts, he said, ensured the convention’s success.
Makinde added that the unity and commitment demonstrated at the convention affirmed the party’s renewed strength and readiness for future political engagements, declaring, “PDP… power to the people!”
