Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike has reacted to claims by former Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi that Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mahmood Yakubu worked under him as Secretary General of TETFUND when he was Minister of State for Education.
Amaechi, who said this shortly after saturday’s governorship election also alleged that the electoral umpire under Yakubu rigged the elections in favor of Wike
However, Wike in a statement Today, said he and Mahmood worked together while he was Minister, as he never worked under him.
The governor, also said that he has forgiven all those that worked against him, noting that Fubara has also promised to work with such people if they retrace their steps.
He called on opposition parties in the state to accept the victory of Sim and see it as the will of God.
