A local vigilante group on Thursday, arrested some heavily armed robbers who attacked and robbed a POS operator of the sum of nine hundred thousand naira.
The incident occurred at the Nkpolu junction of the East West road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Sources say the robbers stormed the area in a bike and shot sporadically in the air, as residents flee for their lives.
After their operations, they were trailed by officials of the local security outfit who arrested and handed them over to the Police.
The State Police Command was yet to react on the matter as at the time of filing this report. Efforts to reach the Spokesperson of the command proved abortive.
