A local vigilante group, has arrested two suspected thieves while trying to steal from a Deeper life Bible Church at the Iloabuchi axis of Diobu in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
They were arrested at about 2:00 am, inside the church premises after some persons sighted them and raised an alarm.
Some residents of the area in a chat with us said, the hoodlums were beaten by the men of the vigilante group, after they confessed to various crime and criminality in the area.
They said the hoodlums have been terrorizing the area, stealing properties and robbing residents of the area at nights.
A resident of the area, who pleaded anonymity, said just three days ago, his plasma television was stolen from his house after he had gone to work.
He explained that they gained access into his house through the ceiling.
The hoodlums, according to him were handed over to the Police who were alerted by the security guards.
