Local security outfit, Diobu Vigilante condemns performance of Rivers Ministry of Power, calls for more street lights in Rivers state to curb crime. The Chairman of Diobu Vigilante, Amatari Bipilade made the call while criticizing the alleged removal of two generators powering the street lights of the newly constructed Ikokwu Fly Over, Azikiwe, and Illoabuchi.
He further called on the state Ministry of Power to clarify the removal of the generators and fix the faulty street lights in the state. The Rivers State Ministry of Power is expected to speak on this. Recall that Rivers state has seen a high crime rate this month, with about three people killed while driving in separate locations in one night.
