Radio presenter Mimi Alete, popularly known as Mimz has detailed her extremely unpleasant sexual harassment ordeal within the media industry. Mimi made this revelation in her newly launched podcast, A Breath Of Fresh Mimz.
During the 16-minute podcast, Mimi offered harrowing accounts on how she was targeted and frequently harassed by a certain Head of Programmes in one of the radio stations in Calabar, Cross Rivers State.
Mimz was careful not to provide explicit details regarding her abuser or the radio station where the events she referred to in the podcast took place. However, many persons within the Calabar media scene can relate with her story and decipher the individual and station she referred to.
Before becoming one of the most familiar voices in Soundcity Radio Port Harcourt, Mimz interned with Gossip Promotions and worked with other radio stations such as Fad FM and Sparkling FM, both in Calabar, Cross Rivers State, Nigeria.
