The Rivers State Government says plans are underway to conduct local government elections in the state.
The State Commissioner of Education, Joe Johnson made this known in a chat with journalists Today.
According to him, the elections will hold as the governor would not do anything unconstitutional.
He advised Rivers people to be patient as there is still time to conduct LG poll.
