The leadership of the Inter-party Advisory Council, IPAC, in Rivers State, has revealed why it did not invite the All Progressives Congress and the People’s Democratic Party to the stakeholders meeting recently organized by RSIEC for the conduct of local government elections in the state.
IPAC in a statement said both parties were not invited because their leadership is not loyal to the group.
As you may the leadership of the APC led by Tony Okocha had in a statement vowed to challenge the conduct of the elections in court, stating that it was not invited for the meeting
RSIEC has scheduled the elections for October 5th 2024.
