Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara says when they were taught the business of politics, they were taught to do it in different ways.
Gov. Fubara said this when he met with political stakeholders in the State, in preparation for the Oct. 5th Local Government Election at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Port Harcourt on Thursday.
According to him, there are certain things that are done publicly, while many others are done behind closed doors.
He said, “When we were taught this business, we were taught to do it in different ways.
“We have the one that we use to do publicly and there are those ones that they also do behind close doors.
“But about this meeting now, we have done enough behind close doors, and we need to do this one publicly.
“This is because we need to let our people know, through the most wide-spread means of reaching out to the people today, which is the social media, so that they will be aware of our position and our resolve on the forthcoming election.
“First, I want to thank everyone of you for been very peaceful. You see, I didn’t make any mistake when I said, we need to follow this struggle with a different tactics.
“For example, if you have very special egg that you are carrying and somebody is coming to fight you, do you need to fight the person?
“You need to use your two hands to grab the basket of egg, even if the person is chasing you, you will stand and look for a way to protect your surrounding.
