Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara says he will write to President, Bola Tinubu to inform him of the happenings in Rivers Police.
The governor said this during a press briefing at Government House in Port Harcourt on Friday.
According to him, they had written to the National Security Adviser and other principal National Officers on the happenings in the State.
He also said the withdrawal of the Police from Saturday’s election is inconsequential, adding that other security agencies will work with the state government to ensure security of lives and property.
Gov. Fubara also revealed that he will resist any attempt to stop the polls, adding that nobody can bar him from entering the RSIEC office as it is his property.
