Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara has maintained that the Oct. 5th Local Government Elections would not only hold, but will be one of the best elections ever held in the State.

Speaking, when he visited the RSIEC headquarters in Port Harcourt on Monday, Fubara said the election will be free and fair.

According to him, no one has the right to stop the election, adding that the state is nobody’s private estate as it belongs to Rivers people.

He warned those planning to stop the election to steer clear, insisting that he is in charge and will ensure the election holds.

Fubara stated that he does not care who nominated him, stating that he will continue to stand on the side of truth.
