The Tony Okocha-led All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, says it will challenge the Appeal Court ruling which nullified the judgement of the Federal High Court against the Oct. 5th Local Government Elections.
Spokesperson of the group, Chibuike Ikenga made this known in a statement on Friday.
Also, Ikenga said nothing will stop the party from going ahead with the planned local government Congress slated for Saturday, November 23, 2024 despite a court order restraining it from doing so.
According to him, the party is not aware of any court order stopping the congress, adding that an Appeal Court had ordered them to go ahead with the Congress.
