Obio Akpor, APP Chairmanship Candidate in Saturday’s Local Government Election in Rivers State, Chijioke Ihunwo has accused the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike of mutiny over alleged attempt to takeover as President of the nation.
Ihunwo in a trending video on social media advised Tinubu to be wary of the activities of Wike to discredit his administration.
According to him, Wike has been issuing directives to the Inspector of General of Police to halt the LG elections in the State, despite the Supreme Court ruling ordering Governors to conduct elections in their states within 90 days.
He also accused Wike of directing his cronies led by Rivers PDP Chairman, Aaron Chukwuemeka, Federal Lawmaker; Kingsley Chinda among others to stage a protest in Port Harcourt calling for the cancellation of the poll.
He described leaders of the protest as miscreants who are been used by one individual to achieve his selfish desires.
He boasted that not even Wike or the Police can stop Saturday’s election and called on Rivers people to come out in their numbers and exercise their franchise.
