Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill has hailed the Supreme Court judgement which granted full autonomy to local government councils Today.
Enefaa in a statement said the ruling is a step in the right direction, but wondered which accounts the monies meant for LG councils would be paid into.
According to him, more clarification is needed on the ruling for the right things to be done.
He also urged Nigerians to hold elected council officials accountable.
