The Lekki Port is set to welcome another container ship bigger than the Maersk ship it received a week ago.
The management in a statement said the vessel, named CMA CGM Scandola, can carry 14,000 Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) of containerised imports and is scheduled to arrive at Lekki Port on Monday, January 29, 2023.
It also said the ship is an LNG-powered vessel in line with the global sustainability agenda.
