Lecturers at the Ken Saro-wiwa Polytechnic have threatened to block the Bori/Aleto bridge if the Federal Government fails to reconstruct the failed portion of the Road.
Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic at the institution, Sudo Nwinyo disclosed this in a statement over the weekend.
He said the failed portion of the road is affecting academic activities as lecturers and students spend hours on the road, while coming to school.
The ASUP Chairman, explained that despite the fact that two prominent sons of the Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio and Chibuike Amaechi are influential members of the Federal Executive Council, the road have continued to be neglected.
He appealed to the Minister of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio to do everything humanly possible to fix the road with immediate effect.
