Mr Princewill Chikakopbi, a Head of Department at the College of Health Science and Management Technology in Port Harcourt, has been accused by a female student of sexually assaulting her.

The student, in a chat with journalists, today, alleged that the lecturer had invited her into his office to help him carry a generator, before sexually assaulting her.

She said the lecturer has been asking her for sex, and on different occasions, she had turned him down.

“As I walked inside, he locked the door and the place was dark. I tried to open the curtain, but he held me and overpowered me and forced himself on me,” she said.

According to reports, the matter is before the Human Rights Desk of the Rivers State Police Command at Moscow Road.

All efforts by our correspondents to reach out to the lecturer has proved abortive.
