The Nigeria Bar Association, Ahoada branch has again condemned the continuous takeover of the 23 Local Government council Secretariats in the state by security operatives for over two months now.
Chairman of the branch, Hilda Ihekaire who condemned the act during a visit to the Abua Odual caretaker committee chairman, Dickson Madighi also blamed the Martin Amaewhule-led lawmakers for attempting to extend the tenure of Local Government chairmen in the state.
Chairman, Abua Odual caretaker committee Dickson Madighi on his part lamented the difficulty they face operating from outside the Local Government Secretariat.
